Neoen acknowledges the Wotjobaluk people, Traditional Owners of the land on which Navarre Green Power Hub will harvest and store the energy of the wind. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

On Tuesday, 4 July 2023, we had the privilege of meeting with the community at the Stawell Town Hall as part of the Bulgana Grants Information Session.

During this event, Josh Lowndes, Neoen’s Asset Manager from Bulgana Wind Farm, provided insights into the grants program and offered guidance on the application process. The response from the community has been exceptional, with numerous exciting projects submitting their applications.

Shevy Feiglin, the incoming Project Manager for the Navarre Wind Farm, also took the opportunity to deliver a project update. She outlined that the project was about to submit its Environmental Effects Referral to the Department of Transport and Planning and that we are working on defining a transmission route to the grid. We have also recently installed a new monitoring wind mast to measure wind speed and direction at the wind farm site.

This gathering served as a valuable platform for the community to raise their queries and seek clarifications.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who braved the cold and rainy evening to join us. Engaging with people who live near our projects in meaningful conversations is a cornerstone of our approach.

Thank you once again for your involvement and continued support.
